Subculture Coffee

The moment you walk in the door, you are hit with the “hipster”, vintage vibe of Subculture Coffee’s cozy interior. The chalk board menu, wooden bar, marble tables, and walls plastered in pictures of people sipping java are just a few of the touches that make this coffee shop so charming. The front patio with its red and white striped canopy and its cute tables only add to the overall charm. With an eclectic mural of Albert Einstein, tables you can play chess on, mix-matched chairs, and strands of over head lights their back patio is a real hidden gem, it offers a quite oasis from the hustle and bustle of downtown West Palm Beach.

The first thing you see when you walk in the door is Subculture’s very own coffee roaster. Not only do they offer their small batch artisan roasted coffee beans in all of their drinks, but you can also purchase the beans by the bag at the store, or you can even join their coffee club and have it delivered straight to your door!

With the coffee beans roasted daily in house how could the coffee be anything but strong and delicious! The spiced brown sugar latte and mocha are worth every penny. The syrups offer a subtle hint of flavor that compliment the coffee perfectly! The cold brew is the perfect on the go pick me up to keep you going all day! They even sell their cold brew in 32 ounce coffee growlers, so if you can’t make to the shop you can always have a little bit of Subculture at home! And you can even bring your empty growler back and get it refilled for a small price!

Subculture also offers a rotating selection of craft beers from local breweries, a selection of wines from small family owned vineyards, and a wide variety of traditional and vegan baked goods that are all made locally. The banana chocolate chip muffin and the butter croissant are among my favorites!

Subculture Coffee is located at 509 Clematis Street, West Palm Beach, FL. They truly put their heart and soul into their coffee and their shop and it is flooded with good people and good vibes.
